Yes, this is strongly recommended. Our vessels have limited capacity to ensure you enjoy a friendly and exclusive experience.

Our exploration boats can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers.
Our vessel Simone accommodates a maximum of 32 passengers.

Places sell out quickly, especially during the high season, so we advise you to book 5 to 6 days in advance if you wish to be able to choose your departure date and time freely.

You may change or cancel your booking free of charge up to 72 hours before departure. After this deadline, no changes can be made and the fare is due.
We offer optional cancellation insurance through our partner MEETCH, should you wish to take it out

This insurance must be taken out at the time of booking and costs 8% of the amount to be insured.
It provides compensation in the event of unforeseen circumstances:

  • 100% if you provide supporting documentation
  • 70% if you do not provide any supporting documentation

Our top priorities are your safety and enjoyment.

In the event of bad weather posing a safety risk, we will cancel or reschedule the trip depending on availability. If none of the options suit you, we will, of course, issue a full refund.
Cloudy weather or even a few drops of rain are not sufficient grounds for cancelling the boat trip.

No, no refund will be given if you arrive late and miss the boat’s departure, for whatever reason.

  • The latest time for check-in is 15 minutes before the ship’s scheduled departure time. Any passenger arriving after this time, even if in possession of a valid ticket, will not be eligible for a refund. In the event of a delay, your ticket cannot be rebooked for another date.
  • Tip: Allow plenty of time for parking and accessing the quay to avoid any disappointment.

Excursion

There are two ways to find our boarding points:

  • Maps and navigation tools are available on our website: Itineraries to your ship
  • Information and boarding instructions are included on the ticket you received upon booking

NB: Our offices are located in the old port of St Raphaël. If your departure is from Fréjus or Agay, there is no need to come to the office. Please refer to the instructions on the e-ticket sent by email; a PDF is attached each time.

You’re on holiday, so we’ve made all the necessary arrangements to ensure you can simply sit back and enjoy your time here.

However, we do recommend that you bring the following with you:

  • Sunglasses
  • Sun cream
  • Hat or cap (especially for your children)
  • Swimwear and a towel are also welcome on board
  • Backpacks or beach bags are allowed on board; please leave your wheeled suitcases at home.
  • A windbreaker or jacket may be useful depending on the season or the excursion booked (e.g. dolphin watching)

There is a waterproof locker under each seat where you can store a rucksack or beach bag safely.

A camera and/or mobile phone to capture the stunning light of the mountains are also highly recommended and can be stored safely in your locker if the boat ride gets a bit choppy!

We follow set routes, but the sailing route and mooring locations may be altered depending on weather conditions and safety at sea.

  • The crew may adjust the itinerary in real time to ensure a pleasant and safe experience

  • The pace of the cruise and the moorings visited may vary depending on other users of the sea and visitor numbers, in order to optimise your experience.

Your experience at sea is always optimised to combine discovery, comfort and eco-responsibility.

We drop anchor in the heart of nature on every one of our excursions (except for the dolphin-watching trip, where we stay out at sea the whole time)

This special moment is a chance to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The captain will serve you some drinks (chilled water, fruit juice or a nice glass of chilled rosé) to help you savour the moment.

Some of you may be tempted to take a dip in the calanques or explore the seabed.

We are not a diving school or a snorkelling centre; swimming is at your own risk. The captain will provide you with all the necessary information on board to ensure your enjoyment and safety, but we cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise if you choose to swim.

Unfortunately, due to safety and space constraints, our vessels are not equipped to accommodate wheelchair users on board.

Passengers must have sufficient mobility and strength in their legs to be able to move about on board our vessels.

On a group tour, if you are sharing the boat with other people, we restrict access to:

  • 5 years old on exploration boats
  • 4 years old on the flagship Simone

If the vessel is chartered privately, we will adapt the tour content and the vessel’s operation to suit the youngest passenger on board and can therefore accept children weighing 20kg or more.

Safety equipment and life jackets are, of course, suitable for their presence on board.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on board.

Why is this restriction in place?

  • To ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.
  • To avoid any risk of allergies or discomfort for other passengers.
  • Our boats are not equipped to accommodate animals safely.

Please make the necessary arrangements before boarding.

Our boats are not equipped with toilets.

Practical information:

  • We therefore advise you to make arrangements before boarding.

  • Toilets are available near the departure point.

Yes, there is a shower at the rear of the boat where you can rinse off.

Practical information:

  • A freshwater shower is available for a quick rinse.

  • As fresh water is a precious resource at sea, please use it sparingly.

  • Please remember to bring a bath towel (not provided on board).

Security

We strongly advise against boarding the boat from the end of the first trimester of pregnancy.

Despite the care and experience of our skippers, the boat may be jolted by a wave, which could cause stress and pose a potential risk to both mother and child. We therefore do not allow anyone who is four months or more into their pregnancy to go out to sea.

Seasickness is caused by a discrepancy between the information received by the inner ear and that transmitted by the eyes. The brain is unable to anticipate the boat’s movements and struggles to process this information, which can lead to nausea, dizziness and general discomfort.

How can you prevent seasickness? Follow the 3F rule to minimise the risks:

  • Avoid the Cold: dress comfortably so you don’t get cold.
  • Avoid Hunger: eat well before boarding; an empty stomach can make symptoms worse.
  • Avoid Fatigue: get a good night’s sleep the night before to avoid feeling exhausted, as fatigue makes seasickness worse.

Treatments and tips:

  • Take a preventative medication such as Mercalm or Nausicalm 30 minutes before boarding.
  • Stay in the open air, focus on the horizon and avoid reading or looking at your phone.
  • Breathe deeply and drink plenty of fluids regularly.
  • Avoid alcohol and heavy meals before heading out to sea.

What should you do if you start to feel unwell?

  • Try lying on your back and closing your eyes to calm your balance system.
  • Don’t stay cooped up inside the boat; fresh air helps to relieve the symptoms.

Our vessels offer excellent stability, thereby minimising the effects of seasickness compared to boats designed differently.

If you are prone to seasickness, prepare in advance to make the most of your trip out to sea!

Our crew consists of experienced professionals specialising in maritime navigation and safety at sea.

Our captains hold at least the Captain’s Certificate 200, an internationally recognised maritime qualification. This certificate can only be obtained following rigorous training at a nautical college and a specified number of validated sailing hours.

Annual inspection and maintenance:

Every year, the Centre de Sécurité des Navires (CSN) carries out a full inspection of our vessels to ensure they comply with regulations. This inspection covers:

  • Safety equipment
  • The proper functioning of on-board equipment
  • The condition of emergency and fire-fighting equipment

Once the inspection has been approved, the CSN issues a navigation licence valid for one year, authorising us to carry passengers in complete safety.

We ensure that our boats meet the strictest safety standards, to guarantee a peaceful and safe journey for all our passengers. Come aboard with confidence and enjoy a safe experience at sea!
