Come discover marine life in the PELAGOS Marine Sanctuary. Join us on a nature tour to explore the wildlife off the coast.
You always have wonderful encounters on vacation!
Climb aboard our exploration vessel and set out to encounter dolphins and whales in the Pelagos Sanctuary. Our passionate captains will reveal (almost) all of its secrets to you.
Suitable for ages 8 and up – Not recommended for women who are more than three months pregnant
Our tour is strictly nature-based and focuses on exploring marine life at sea. In addition to frequent encounters with various species of dolphins, we also come across sea turtles, seabirds, sperm whales, and more.
Every trip is different.
In 2025, our dolphin sighting rate was 88%, which means that 12% of our passengers were unable to see dolphins at sea—the sighting of wild mammals in their natural habitat cannot be guaranteed.
Swimming in the open sea is strictly prohibited.

You’re on vacation, so we’ve taken care of everything so you can just sit back and enjoy the moment.
However, we recommend that you bring the following:
There is a waterproof storage compartment under each seat where you can safely store a backpack or beach bag.
A camera and/or phone to capture the exquisite light on the sea or the marine life you encounter are also highly recommended and can be stored safely in your compartment if the boat ride gets a bit choppy!

If you’re visiting Saint-Raphaël, you absolutely must try this unforgettable experience.
We went out to sea to see dolphins and had a magical, wonderful, unforgettable experience. Jeff, our guide, knew all the best spots—thank you so much for this unforgettable moment.
A big thank you.
An absolutely magical outing! 🚤🐬
This morning, we set sail at 8 a.m. from the port of Saint-Raphaël aboard Simone, a very comfortable boat. We sailed on calm seas to the open sea, in the Pelagos sanctuary, above a 2,000-meter-deep fault, a veritable pantry for cetaceans. The excursion is for small groups (only 30 passengers) and, as Taxsea is the only company to offer this type of outing, we were alone at sea: a real privilege!
We were lucky enough to observe a pod of about ten dolphins for more than 30 minutes, then a sperm whale spotted in the distance, with its majestic tail as it dived. 🌊✨
All this was accompanied by breakfast at sea served by the captain and his hostess, both of whom were lovely, smiling, and passionate, sharing lots of interesting explanations.
A unique and unforgettable experience that I recommend 100%!!!
A fun day on the water with sunshine, fun, and beautiful views.
Such a beautiful trip on the water and in the Calanques region. The boat driver was very accommodating to all questions and requests. He was communicative in French and English and was a very knowledgeable tour guide. It was an enjoyable time, full of interesting things to see and a nice time to swim with friends.
